Unix DBMS Survey #1

I have submitted to net.followup the first draft of my survey  of
Database  Management  Systems  (DBMS)  which  run  under the Unix
operating system.  The title of that draft is the  same  as  this
announcement,

The first draft includes information on the following DBMS:

                    RTI INGRES
                    ORACLE
                    BRITTON LEE IDM 300/600
		    MISTRESS
                    UNIFY
                    INFORMIX
                    LOGIX
                    SEQUITUR
                    TROLL

It lacks information on three DBMS:

                    /RDB
                    POLARIS
                    MDBS III

and has a few remaining gaps in the information for  the  systems
which  are  reported.   When  I have completed the survey for the
remaining systems and filled the gaps as completely as  possible,
I  will submit the final draft of the survey to net.followup with
an announcement here in net.unix-wizards.
