As far as I can see, the best way of ensuring that root doesn't
re-own a tty is to move it to somewhere othere than /dev.
I don't know for sure that the move will work, but i can easily
see that the problem is that /dev is regularly searched for files
that belong to the wrong person. If your file (tty) isn't there,
then it is much less likely to be bothered.
