How do you get a TU80 to stream (2nd request, No solutions to the 1st)

Does anybody have the TU80 streamming on UN*X ???  How about a modifcation
to tar with big buffers or the like?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our configuration:   UNIX 4.2 BSD, VAX 750, RA81, RA80, TU80, Futjisu Eagle
