Has anyone added bad block forwarding to hpdump() for 4.3BSD?

I am comtemplating adding the bad block forwarding code to the hpdump routine
for 4.3BSD.  Both of the swap areas on our 8600 have bad blocks (what luck).
Before I re-invent the wheel I thought I would ask.
