SCCS Question(s)

Hi ?

   What are the pros & cons of using the SCCS (Source Code Control System) system
on VAX ?  Is it alway worth it or is it only convenient for large projects with 
many programmers ? Has anyone designed some kit of aliases and shell scripts to
provide a cooler interface to it ? Would I like to get that kit ? Am I in the right
newsgroup ? Is this a question ?
