There is a "known problem" with 3C503's on at least some of the faster
386 boxes, according to SCO. There is supposed to be a new driver that
will fix the problem available sometime in May. I don't know that this
applies to your PS/2 system, but it may.

I get FTP transfer rates into our 386 system of about .2K/s (yes I did
mean to say .2K/s) talking to Sun4's. Suprisingly the transfer rates
from Sun3's is reasonable (~35K/s).

If it is the same problem we've been having, there apparently isn't
anything that can be done other that wait for the new driver.
