Bugs in SCO XENIX uucico?

        I have problem which looked simple at first but got
complicated rather quickly. I have a 386 machine running SCO Xenix.
The machine is connected to a terminal server via an ethernet cable
to provide access to the Xenix box to several users. This
configuration was rather simple to install.

        What I want to do now is use one of the terminal ports on the
terminal server and install a printer on it (see figure.) A simple
solution is to configure the scheduler so that it sends its output to
the /dev/tty? to which the printer is connected on the terminal server.

      Scenario:
      ---------        term1 term2 term(n)       *
                            \ \   /     ___ * printer *
                             \ \ |    /          *
                              || |   |
                            +----------+
                            | Racal    |
                            | Terminal |
                            | Server   |
                            +-----+----+
                                  |                 Ethernet cable
   <------+-----------------------+-------------------------->
          |
     +----+----+
     |   SCO   |     ( Using Excelan Network Software )
     |  Xenix  |
     |   box   |
     +---------+

	This actually verks. BUT, I have to first, hook up a
terminal to the port that will be used by the printer and to logon to
Xenix box. Second, I have to remove the terminal from the port and
replace it with printer. And third, I have to reassign the device to
which the printer scheduler sends its output so that it uses the same
/dev/tty? as the printer. Quite a mess, eh? Exactly!

        I've also tried making the printer a remote printer by
making the port for the printer on the terminal server a slave port
and assigning a network address to the port. BUT, I can't quite make
it work though, ack!

        I'm baffled. Any ideas, anyone? huh? huh?
