I have tried gettings software from the SHOP unsuccessfully using info
I have read about in several postings. Could anyone possibly help me
out? Here are the problems:

I issued these commands separately. Neither worked. In both cases
I heard the modem on the other end of the line pick up. The errors
I got are outlined below.

uucp shop!/store/STOREROOM/CATALOG+IN /usr/spool/uucppublic/CATALOG+IN
uucp other!/store/STOREROOM/CATALOG+IN /usr/spool/uucppublic/CATALOG+IN

These are the entries in the L.sys file:
other Any ph0 1200 *70,,2019574646 "" \d ogin:--ogin:--ogin: shop
shop Any ph0 1200 *70,,2019574646 "" \r\d\r ogin:--ogin:--ogin: shop

This was the result in the LOGFILE after trying each one:
shop!uucp (12/2-13:09:11) (C,148,0) OK (DIAL ph0 P*70,,2019574646 26)
other!kayser (12/2-13:14:10) (U,180,0) QUE'D (C.othernA0036)
other!uucp (12/2-13:14:41) (C,182,0) OK (DIAL ph0 P*70,,2019574646 26)
other!uucp (12/2-13:14:44) (C,182,0) LOST LINE (LOGIN)
other!uucp (12/2-13:14:44) (C,182,0) LOST LINE (LOGIN)
other!uucp (12/2-13:14:44) (C,182,0) LOST LINE (LOGIN)
other!uucp (12/2-13:14:44) (C,182,0) FAILED (LOGIN (ph0, P))
other!uucp (12/2-13:14:44) (C,182,0) FAILED (call to other )

This was the error in ERRLOG after trying shop:
ASSERT ERROR (uucico) pid: 148 (12/2-13:09:13) BAD WRITE2 \d (0)

Also, the LCK..ph0 stays around after I make phone calls. I have to
erase it manually. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'd really like to use the shop, but I'm stuck! Can you help me?
