Whoever told you that is somewhat confused. phslan is a 'utility' program
which is hidden behind both the phone manager and the uucp package. It is
not designed for use by people, hence there isn't any documentation.

However, the following command worked for me:

	phslan <machine> - $HOME/Filecabinet/Profiles/STARLAN:Sl

which is basically what the phone manager does when it invokes phslan.
On exit one's terminal modes are screwed up, further proof that phslan
is not meant to be invoked standalone, but rather via the phone manager.
