problem compiling gcc-1.28

	I have been trying to compile gcc version 1.28 on my Unix PC,
and I get the following error message:

	cc -g -Wp,traditional -c expr.c
	"insn-codes.h", line 153: compiler error: parameter stack overflow
	*** Error code 1

Any suggestions for fixing the problem would be greatly appreciated.
