I had spent the better part of Friday and Saturday overcoming all the
problems of bootstrapping GCC 1.30 on my 3B1. To save someone elses
sanity, I would be willing to post the binaries of GCC 1.30 to this
group or unix-pc.sources. Is there interest in my doing so? It is
about 800k before uuencoding. I didn't use an older version of
gcc to bootstrap and went through the headache of using the supplied
version of 'cc'. My binaries seem to be pretty stable. They passed
the stage2 test for making GCC. If anyone has any questions on making
GCC 1.30, I can try to help.
Now I have a request I hope someone can help me with. Does
anyone have suggestions on how to get G++ up and running on a 3B1?
I heard that there are problems with the COFF formated object files
and using G++. I would appreciate any hints, help, suggestions or
diff files. I hope to get the newest version of G++ on my 3B1 soon.
